Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification:
a)Assistant Professor:Applicants who are applying for Assistant Professor can expect 
Pay Band – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/
Educational Qualification:
Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks
b. M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent
grade of B in 7 point scale
OR
An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI

b)Associate Professor:Applicants who are applying for Assistant Professor can expect 
Pay Band – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000/
Educational Qualification:
Qualification for Associate Professor of B.Ed(General)
(a) Master Degree in Arts/Humanities/Sciences/Commerce and M.Ed. each with a minimum
of fifty five percent marks or its equivalent grade.(or)
M.A.(education) and B.Ed each with a minimum of 55% marks

C)Professor:Applicants who are applying for Assistant Professor can expect 
Pay Band – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/
Educational Qualification:
Master Degree in Arts/Humanities/Sciences/Commerce and M.Ed. each with minimum
55% marks (or) M.A (Education) and B.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks.

Kolkata) placed in a sealed cover clearly mentioning in capital letters the name of the post applied for, should reach the 
office of the Registrar at 1, Woodburn Park, Kolkata-700020 on or before
17/04/2014(within 4 p.m).
