27 Technical Officer Vacancies BARC Recruitment 2014
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has recently announced notification for the recruitment of 27 technical officer posts.All the eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts notified by BARC.
BARC has clearly mentioned in their notification that they are striving for a work force which reflects gender balance and especially women candidates are encouraged to apply.

1)Technical Officer/C (Electrical)
Number of posts:03 posts
Qualification:B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical discipline with aggregate percantage greater than or equal to marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University.
Desirable Knowledge:Knowledge of different high voltage high current semi-conductor switches and their applications for development of compact high voltage power supplies;
2)Technical Officer/C (Electronics)
Number of posts:03 posts
Qualification:B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical discipline with aggregate percantage greater than or equal to marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University.
Desirable Knowledge:Knowledge of developing firmware for FPGA and DSP based systems
3)Technical Officer/C (Mechanical)
Number of posts:02 posts
Qualification:B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical discipline with aggregate percantage greater than or equal to marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University.
Desirable Knowledge:Experience of working in component and system design tools (3D);
4)Technical Officer/C (Physics)
Number of posts:10 posts
Qualification:M.Sc in Physics with ≥60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a
recognized University.
Desirable Knowledge:Physics with Statistics and Mathematics background; knowledge in
LASERs and LASER applications, semi conductors, spectroscopy
techniques, computers
5)Technical Officer/C (Chemistry)
Number of posts:09 posts
Qualification:M.Sc in Chemistry with ≥60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a
recognized University.
Desirable Knowledge:Knowledge in instrumental methods of chemical analysis
Pay Scale:
Candidates can expect a pay Scale of 15600-39100 + 5400 (GP).
Age Limit:
Age limit of the candidates who are willing to apply for the technical officer posts
not more than 35 years for UR
not more than 38 years for OBC
not more than 40 years for SC
not more than 40 years for ST
