Intelligence Bureau IB has recently announced notification for the recruitment of Personal Assistants PA and Junior Intelligence Officer JIO Posts.All the candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for the posts mentioned by IB Intelligence Bureau.
Online applications are invited from Indian nationals for direct recruitment to the post(s) of Personal Assistant, General Central Service, Group-B (Non-Gazetted/Ministerial) and Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical, General Central Service, Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Recruitment of PA and JIO grade II
Name of the post and Number of Vacancies:
Personal Assistant (PA) 42 posts (UR-13,OBC-08,SC-13,ST-08)
Educational Qualification:
10+2 pass or equivalent with proficiency in stenography
(i) Dictation: 10 minutes@ 100 words per minute.
(ii) Skill test on computer-transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi)
Desirable: Knowledge of computer operation,Windows 2000
Pay Scale:Rs. 9300-34800/- and grade pay of Rs. 4600/-(PB) -plus other government allowances
Junior Intelligence Officer Grade II/ Tech II:
32 posts (UR-18,OBC-07,SC-05,ST-02)
Educational Qualification:Matriculation with two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) passed certificate in Radio Technician or Communication or Computer or Electronics or Electrical.
Pay SCale:Rs. 5200-20200/- and grade pay of Rs. 2400/- (PB- plus allowances from Government
Age Limit:Candidates age limit should be in between 18 - 27 years as on the closing date i.e. June 02, 2014 for registration of applications.
(For reservation candidates age limit will be based on govt norms).

Mode of Selection:
Candidates have to appear for the written test.Written test is common for poth Personal Assistant and Junior Intelligence officer.Candidates will be shortlisted based on the performance in the written test.
Written test will be followed by stenographic test/skill test cum interview,character and antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.
