Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute CIFRI has invited applications for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellows and Junior Research Fellows of project entitled "Strengthening Database and GIS
for Fisheries sector" under Central Sector Scheme of Department of Animal Husbandry,Dairying & Fisheries, Govt. of India.All the eligible and interested candidates who meet the minimum requirement specified by CIFRI can

CIFRI Recruitment 2014 Research Fellows on Contract Basis
Details of CIFRI Walk In Interview:
Name of the post and Number of Vacancies:
Senior Research Fellow (GIS and RS):03 posts
Remuneration:Applicants can expect a pay scale of Rs. 16000 + 30 % HRA
Qualification:
Post Graduation in RS and GIS/Post garduation in any Science discipline with minimum one year of diploma in GIS and RS.
At least two years of experience in RS Image Interpretation and GIS.
Experience in geospatial data processing in ESRI / Intergraph.
Junior Research Fellow (GIS & RS):07 posts
Remuneration:Applicants can expect a pay of Rs. 14000 + 30% HRA
Qualification:
Post Graduation in RS and GIS or Post Graduate in any science discipline with minimum one year diploma in RS and GIS
At least six months experience in RS image processing
Working experience in image processing and GIS software
Senior Research Fellow (Statistics):01 posts
Remuneration:candidates can expect a pay scale of Rs.16000 +30% HRA
Qualification:Applicants must have possess M. Sc. (Statistics).
Experience in field data Collection. Knowledge of Stratified Multistage Sampling methodology and programming in SAS or R
Junior Research Fellow (Computer Application):02 posts
Pay Scale:Applicants can expect a pay scale of Rs. 14000+ 30 % HRA
Qualification:
Candidates must have possess M.Sc. (Computer Science)/B. Tech/MCA from UGC recognized university
At least six months experience in Database Development.
Age Limit:Maximum age of the applicants while attending the interview is 35 years.(Age relaxation is applicable as per the govt rules).
