Indian School of Mines ISM has invited applications/nominations for the recruitment of Chair Professor posts (SAIL-NMDC Chair) created through an endowment by SAIL & NMDC.All the eligible and interested applicants who
are willing join hands with ISM as chair Professor can apply for the posts.
Details Of ISM Dhanbad Chair Professor Vacancies:
Name of the posts:SAIL-NMDC Chair Professor
Areas of Specialization:Mining, Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy
Age Limit:At the time of appointment, the Chair Professor should have a minimum of twoyears to serve before reaching the maximum age of 70 years.
Pay Scale:Applicants can expect a pay band of PB-4: Rs.37,400-67,000
Qualification:
a) Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch of engineering with a very good academic record throughout
b) Minimum 10 years experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor/ 7 years at the level of Assistant Professor.
Or
c) An outstanding Engineer/Technologist, working in industry with established reputation and who has made significant contribution to knowledge but may be without a Ph.D.degree.
