APSC Recruitment 2014 Forest Rangers (Assam PSC)
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued notification for recruiting Forest Rangers in Assam Forest Service under Environment and Forest Department, Assam.Applications are invited from eligible candidates who
meet the minimum requirements specified by APSC.
Details of APSC Forest Rangers Recruitment 2014:
Last Date to Apply for Forest Rangers Post:8th August 2014.
Forest Ranger:45 posts
Age Limit:Applicants age limit should be in between 21 to 38 Years as on 01/01/2014.
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates for 5 years.
Pay Scale:Applicants can expect a pay range of PB-3 Rs.8000 to Rs.35000 and Grade Pay Rs.4500/-
Educational Qualification:Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized University.
Candidates must meet the minimum physical standards (like height,chest etc) to be eligible for the post).You can get details of physical fitness in the official advt which you can find at the end of this post.
Selection Procedure:Selection of the candidates will be done based on the performance in the Written Examination and Interview.

For SC/ST Candidates:Rs 25
For all the other applicants:Rs 50
Below Listed must be send along with Application form:
a)Original Treasury Receipt for Rs. 5.00 (Rs. 2.50 for SC/ST candidates) as Application fee and Rs. 50.00/- (Rs. 25.00/- for SC/ST candidates) as Examination fee showing the name of the post and dept. and also full Head of Account "Non Tax Revenue, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 102 STATE PSC Application/ Examination fee receipt of Assam Public Service Commission".
b)2 copies of recent passport size photograph duly signed by the candidate.
c)Certificate of age,Caste and educational Qualification.
