Border Security Force BSF is looking for the eligible applicants to fill the post of Sub Inspectors,Head Constables and Crew in various fields.All the eligible and interested applicants who meet the criteria set by BSF can apply for the posts specified in this article.Applications are invited from Indian male applicants for the posts.

Wing:Water Wing
Sub Inspector (Workshop):1 post
SI (Master):10 posts
Sub Inspector(Engine Driver):13 Posts
Head Constable(Master) :68 posts
HC (Engine Driver) :66 posts
HC (Workshop) :1 Posts
CT (Crew):134 Posts
Age Limit:
Applicants age limit should be in between 22 to 28 years for Sub Inspector (Master & Engine Driver).
For all the remaining posts age limit should be in between 20 to 25 years.
Pay Scale:
Applicants who are applying for the post of SI can expect a pay of PB-2 Rs. 9300/- to 34800/- + GP of Rs. 4200/
Applicants who are applying for the post of HC can expect a pay of BP-1 Rs. 5200/- to 20200/- + GP of Rs. 2400/
Applicants who are applying for the post of CT can expect a pay of PB-1 Rs. 5200/- to 20200/- + GP of Rs. 2000/-
Selection Procedure:
Applicants selection will be done based on the performance in Written Test,physical test,trade test and personal interview conducted by the selection commission.
Application Fee:
For General and OBC Candidates:Rs 50
No fee for SC/ST BSF candidates and Ex servicemen
Application fee should be paid in the form Demand draft which should be drawn in favor of "Inspector General" payable at SBI/Post office at the location or near by station.(DD should be drawn in the name of the Addressee to whom the application is addressed.)
Last Date to apply:30 days from date of notification (Advt published on 05/07/2014)
So the last date to apply will be on 05/08/2014
Candidates have to fill the application in the prescribed format.Duly filled application format along with the required documents should be sent to Kolkata/Guwahati/Jalandhar/Bangalore/Kadamtala/Gamdhi Nagar/Agartala/Delhi Depending on your choice.
