Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has recently announced notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Lineman.All the interested and eligible who meets the minimum requirements specified by KPTCL can apply for the posts.
KPTCL invites Online Applications from qualified ITI and ITC Qualified candidates for recruitment of Assistant Lineman

Assistant Lineman (for female):53 posts
(Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic)
(General-37 posts,Rural quota-12,Ex-Military Personnel:02,Kannada Medium Candidate:01,Project Displaced Candidate:01)
Assistant Lineman(Both male/female candidates):32 posts
(Lineman/Electrician trade)
Educational Qualifications:
For ITI candidates:
Applicants must have valid certificate of 18/24 months course in "Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic" trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) recognized by Government of Karnataka.
ITC Candidates:
Applicants must have 10th STD Examination and pass certificate of 3 years "Lineman trade/Electrician trade"(ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.
Age Limit:
35 Years for General applicants,
38 Years for Category IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB candidates;
40 Years for SC/ ST and Category I candidates.
Selection Process:Selection of the candidates will be done based on the performance in the Endurance Test.
Application Fee:
For SC/ST category Candidates:Rs 200
For General and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB:Rs 400
Candidates can pay the Application fee by using Net Banking option, any Bank ATM cum Debit card, Internet Banking (OR) Candidates can also pay the Application fee using Off Line by Challan at State Bank of India Branches.
