Age Limit:Applicants age limit should be 32 years for Scientist and 37 years for Senior Scientist as on 26/08/2014.Candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC applicants,age relaxation is applicable as mentioned in the official notification.
Pay Scale:
Scientist/ Senior Scientist in Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay- Rs.6600/-(for Scientist), Rs.7600/-(for
Senior Scientist)
Educational Qualifications:
Applicants must have acquire ME/ M. Tech. in any Science/ Engineering discipline (OR) Ph.D.
Application Fee:
No application fee for SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates.
For other applicants:Rs 500
Payment of application fee should be done in the form Demand Draft drawn in favour "Director, NISCAIR" payable at New Delhi of on any nationalized bank.
