Applications are invited from both male and female candidates of India belonging to General,Scheduled Tribes,Schedule Castes and other backward classes for the recruitment of Assistant SubInspector of Police (RM) and Head Constable posts in RO and Fitter.

ASI (RM):68 posts (UR-37, OBC-17, SC-10, ST-04)
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200/- (PB-1) plus Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
Head Constable (RO):417 posts (UR-189, OBC-112, SC-73, ST-43)
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200/- (PB-1) plus Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
HC (Fitter):11 posts (UR-08, OBC-02, SC-01)
Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200/- (PB-1) plus Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Age Limit:
Candidates age limit is different for different Reserved Candidates.
General Candidates :18 to 25 Years
OBC Candidates :18 to 28 Years
SC & ST Candidates :18 to 30 Years
Educational Qualifications:
ASI Assistant Sub Inspector (RM):
Matriculation with 3 Years Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical or Domestic Appliances (OR) 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks with
selection subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
HC (RO):
Matriculation or equivalent and Two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics (OR) 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
HC (Fitter):
Matriculation or equivalent and Two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic (OR) 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Mode of Selection:
Candidates will have to undergo two rounds of examination.
First Phase :Written Test on August 24
Second Phase:22nd September 2014 (PST, PET Documentation, Dictation Test for HC (RO) Only, Interview and Final Medical)
Last Date to Apply for BSF Posts:July 7 2014
Application Fee:
Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft /Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) only for General and OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of the Inspector General/DIG/Comdt to whom the
application is addressed payable at respective SBI/post office. However the SC/ST & BSF serving personnel and female candidates of all categories are not required to submit examination fee.
