NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MANAGEMENT (NIFTEM) has been set up as an apex world class institute of global standards in Food Technology, Entrepreneurship & Management under the aegis of Ministry of Food Processing Industries.

Name of the post and number of vacancies:
Professor Posts :05 posts
Departments:
Food Engineering,Food Science and Technology,Food Business Management and Entrepreneurship Development,Basic and Applied Sciences,Agriculture and Environmental Sciences
(Total 5 departments One for each department NIFTEM).
Pay Scale:Candidates can expect a pay scale of Rs 37,400-67,000 + AGP of 10,000.
Age Limit:
Maximum age of the applicants who are willing to apply for Professor posts in NIFTEM is 65 years.
Age Relaxation of the candidates will be as per rules specified by Govt of India.
Note:
Interested applicants already employed under the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 or on identical pension scheme before 01.01.2004 will be considered on long term deputation for 05 years extendable upto 10 years or upto 65 years of age, whichever is earlier. 
Superannuated Faculty may be considered for contract employment for Guiding/Teaching/Consultancy/Skill development/Pilot plant/Food technology lab/any other task, upto the age of 70 years.
