Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT) invites applications for various posts on contract basis.

Details of IIT Kharagpur Recruitment on Contract Basis:
Principal Medical Officer: 01 Posts (UR)
Pay Band: Applicants can expect a pay scale of Rs.37400 – 67000/- (PB-4) + Grade Pay 8900/- and allowances as admissible.
Age: Preferably below 60 years.
Qualification: MBBS and MS / MD degrees in clinical disciplines (Gen. Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Paediatrics, Ob & Gyn, Orthopaedics, Anesthesia, Intensive Care, Preventive and Social Medicine
etc) from recognized and reputed universities in India and overseas.
Required experience: At least 20 years of experience as a Medical Officer in recognized hospitals out of which a minimum of 3 years experience in administrative positions as Medical
Superintendent/Chief Medical Officer or equivalent in Government / PSU /Reputed private sector Hospitals of sizable indoor/outdoor patients.
Initial Contract tenure:3 years
